Golf Courses

Golf is a popular sport in Cantabria – birthplace of course to Seve Ballesteros – and there are many courses around the region to enjoy, some with spectacular views to boot.

Real Golf de Pedreña – consisting of an 18 hole course and a 9 hole course, the former designed by Harry S. Colt and the latter designed by Seve Ballesteros.  It is located in Ballesteros’ seaside hometown of Pedreña, across the bay from Santander, and is accessible by passenger ferry from Santander.

Golf Santa Marina – located between Comillas and San Vicente de la Barquera in La Revilla, this course was also designed by Seve Ballesteros.

Golf Nestares – one of two local courses managed by Cantur (the Cantabrian government), in Nestares, near Reinosa and surrounded by snow topped mountains.
